F-Secure Client Security™ is a highly effective, centrally managed security solution for your corporate desktop and laptop computers. In 60 seconds from the first confirmation of a new threat, all the computers in your corporate network are protected.

Whether your company is large or small, Client Security scales up with your business. Its wide set of features can be easily managed with F-Secure Policy Manager and the protection is always on wherever the computers are connected to the network.

Securing computers against modern Internet threats requires proactive protection and monitoring suspicious software behavior in the system, combined with traditional signature-based protection. F-Secure Client Security™ provides corporate desktops and laptops centrally managed proactive protection against both traditional malware and new zero-day threats.

Automatic Real-time Protection
F-Secure Client Security automatically stops viruses, spyware and malicious code in real-time, whether they are spreading via e-mail, web or removable media, like USB-sticks. By scanning POP3, IMAP4, SMTP and HTTP traffic, the solution prevents viruses from being sent or received via e-mail or web. To make installation easier, F-Secure Client Security recognizes most potentially conflicting antivirus programs and automatically removes them during installation.

Transparent and Automatic Updates
The updatable scanning engine enables fast and carefree maintenance and offers quick and smooth responses against constantly evolving threats. Virus definition databases are transparently and automatically updated at least once a day. Neighbourcasting feature allows database downloads also from other clients inside the LAN, thus minimizing bandwidth use. The fail-over feature ensures that F-Secure Client Security offers up-to-date protection against new viruses, even if the primary delivery server is unreachable.

F-Secure DeepGuard 2.0
F-Secure DeepGuard™ is a unique Network Host-based Intrusion Prevention System (NHIPS) technology. It combines advanced heuristics, sandboxing and run-time behavioural blocking as well as network queries. It also works seamlessly with conventional definition-based scanning systems. This unique multi-tier approach adds usability by decreasing the amount of false alarms. Network queries increase the speed of response and decrease the user involvement. Tight integration to application control also reduces the amount of pop-ups.

F-Secure BlackLight
Rootkits are often used to hide malicious software like viruses, spyware, adware, backdoors, trojans and worms. The remotely manageable F-Secure BlackLight™ is an on-demand rootkit scanner that examines the system behaviour at a deep level, detecting objects that are hidden from the user and security software.

Integrated Desktop Firewall
The integrated desktop firewall with stateful inspection provides robust monitoring and filtering of Internet traffic and prevents unauthorized access to workstations over the network. It also hides workstations from hackers and network worms. Application Control allows network administrators to centrally control workstation applications that access the Internet.

Comprehensive Central Management and Reporting
With F-Secure Policy Manager™ – a software program included in the license – network administrators can remotely install, configure and monitor F-Secure Client Security from one central location. Administrators can lock the end-user interface and security settings to prevent users without administrator rights from bypassing security settings. F-Secure Client Security also generates extensive reports, such as security alerts, virus infection rates, and virus definition database updates. Settings can be adjusted at network level, security domain level or individual host level.
