Centralized Policy-Based Management
F-Secure Policy Manager is a distribution and management tool for administrators. It makes sure security policies keep users protected at all times, regardless of time and place. With Policy Manager it is possible to remotely manage the antivirus, antispyware, antirootkit, behaviour-monitoring, desktop firewall, intrusion prevention, application control, browsing protection and quarantine on workstations and laptops.

Automation of Daily Operations
Policy Manager is an efficient tool for automating daily operations such as the protection of new computers. Policy Manager can also automatically remove disconnected hosts from the domain tree. Active Directory domains can be replicated directly to Policy Manager. New hosts are automatically imported based on created rules. For example, new hosts in the Active Directory’s organizational structure are added in the correct locations in Policy Manager. Antivirus and security management is easier than ever!

Support for Multiple Administrators
Multiple administrators can be logged into Policy Manager simultaneously from different locations. Each administrator’s credentials can be set to have full or read-only access.

Corporate security managers set up corporate policies in the F-Secure Policy Manager Console. IT administrators then deploy and distribute all policy, configuration and installation files to the F-Secure Policy Manager Server. IT administrators also receive alarms and alerts when security breaches are attempted but blocked.

F-Secure Policy Manager Server
The F-Secure Policy Manager Server forces the hosts to download all new applications, upgrades and updates according to the security policies. Downloads are automatically unpacked and installed in the host computer, based on policies and configuration information. All this is done automatically and transparently in real time.

The detailed graphical reports in F-Secure Policy Manager Web Reporting allow administrators to identify computers that are unprotected or vulnerable to virus outbreaks before they actually occur. F-Secure Policy Manager Web Reporting provides over 40 pre-defined graphical reports, making it very quick and easy to locate unprotected computers, track virus outbreaks, validate security settings and present the current security status in a visual format.

F-Secure Policy Manager Proxy is designed to deliver daily virus definition database updates to remote offices over slow WAN connections. The updates are transferred only once over the slow network link and distributed locally to workstations and servers in the remote offices, which significantly reduces the traffic used for downloading the daily updates over the Internet.

F-Secure Policy Manager Proxy is a local proxy server that is used in remote offices to download definition updates from F-Secure Policy Manager Server or directly from F-Secure to each workstation.
